Will I ever pay Icon Labour a fee?
No. Operatives are not charged to register or for an introduction. Contractors pay £500 + VAT only after an operative starts work.
Does registering guarantee work?
No. Opportunities depend on your skills, location, availability and the contractor’s requirements. We discuss suitable opportunities as they arise.
Can I register before uploading my cards?
Yes. Uploads are optional at registration. Share the cards, tickets and qualifications you hold so our team can discuss any documents needed for a particular role.
When will I hear back?
We respond to registrations and enquiries within 24 hours. We may ask about your experience, cards, working areas and availability before discussing suitable opportunities.
Where do you cover?
We cover the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Tell us the areas you can reach and how far you are willing to travel. Opportunities depend on the trade, location and current requirements.
Do you check my cards?
We verify supplied CSCS and CPCS cards. You can upload clear copies when registering or discuss them with us afterwards. A card check does not replace the other checks needed for a particular site or role.
How are pay and engagement arrangements agreed?
You agree the work and payment directly with the contractor. Before accepting a role, ask the contractor to confirm the rate, payment schedule and engagement arrangements, including whether PAYE or CIS applies. Registration does not commit you to a particular arrangement.
Can I update or remove my registration?
Yes. Email contact@iconlabour.co.uk with your request. See our privacy notice for more about your information and rights.

Icon Labour uses your registration to assess your experience and contact you about construction work. Uploaded documents are stored privately for Icon Labour to review your cards, tickets and qualifications. Documents are not shared with contractors. Your name, email address and phone number are not included in contractor-facing profiles.
After review, we may share your trade, experience, working regions, transport, availability and relevant qualifications with contractors approved by Icon Labour. Do not include private contact details in your experience description.

Icon Labour is a trading name of Icon Civils Ltd. We connect operatives and contractors across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Registration is free for operatives; contractors pay £500 + VAT only when an operative starts.

We verify CSCS and CPCS cards supplied by operatives. Card checks form part of the discussion about suitability for a role.
